How would you feel if you lost your car’s license plate? Not just one but two—front & pp.jpgback? What do you think would be your immediate reaction? I was like—definitely not in heaven—but somewhere in the middle of heaven & earth. No, I hit rock bottom! Of course, you’d be shocked, very shocked, & ultra-shocked! I felt like I was in the North Pole standing under the sun for 15 mins—1:00 PM, 35 degrees celcius, & starving—when I found that out.

Mine, honestly, was & is not the best among the cars that were parked right in front of my building, right before my very eyes, but not the worst either. It’s not anymore brand new-looking, but not old either. It was parked alongside a very busy street—with busy people passing by day & night—& very well-lighted. It was parked right beside the busy public phone booths right next to the 24-hour convenience store, “7-11″. The place also has both the motorcycle taxi & car taxi mini-stations that operate 24/7. Just imagine how busy the place really is, yet, the thief still managed to maneuver my front & back license plates & fled away with them. Professional thief indeed!

Now, the thief needs the plates for sale or use with stolen cars. At least they only took the plates & still left me with my car! Praise God! They’re p.jpgnot that bad, are they? They still are! What could’ve happened to me if I lost the whole thing? What to do when you lost your car’s license plates? Immediately report to the police, of course, hoping they will do something. I was starving & already shaking when I went to file for a police report only to get disappointed that they couldn’t understand me—I couldn’t understand them either.

When a gracious lad came by to help interpret, it was more frustrating to learn that they do not entertain such cases & was only told to go to another police station where finding it is another total exploration. Don’t forget, it was darned hot & I was already starving! I had only one choice—to give up! I just couldn’t really imagine what hassles this theft brings. Anyways, thanks heavens that I still got my car & that’s the bottomline!
