Selling what used to be a highly treasured property may not be the liking of many. People have their share of happiness and how they live life—only they have the sole responsibility of knowing and explaining it. Each person has his own way of seeing things and liking them. Collecting rare vinyl LP record albums of the 1940’s to 1990’s famous classic songs is one favorite pastime dad shared with us. The songs were and still are great—so melodious, nerve-tingling, beautiful, and relaxing. These albums are not anymore widely produced and distributed in the market. You can only find a very few record stores in the whole world that still sell them as they are now way too old (collectors’ vintage vinyl music albums), out-dated and that new releases in VCDs and DVDs have dominated the market nowadays. Yet, there are those who still desire to have or get hold of them. A phonograph or a simple turntable will do good for me but decisions on selling the records instead outweighs the need to keep them. It’s not that we don’t value dad’s cherished belongings but if we could no longer use nor enjoy them, then what’s the use of still keeping them. A player is now very difficult to find and to maintain. It could be costly as well since the spare parts are so difficult to find. So, dad’s cherished record albums will be on sale for the enthusiastic individual who longed to have them, too. If I only have one turntable with a diamond, still functioning needle (just like my boss), then I would surely not sell them to the public. 1. I had been collecting vinyl records for ten years now and I see the potential of vinyl music for years to come as a physical manifestation of the music that you like.

  2. Thank you, Musicobsession. Surely, since time is revolving then the vinyl records era will come back and many of us will get to enjoy them again. ;)
