Getting Along With My iPhone 3g-looking HTC Dopod C720w

Technology never ceases to conquer mankind — or is it really the other way around? With people (oh, yeah, they’re astronauts!) already started walking on the moon, then there’s no doubt that your car in the future can unlock itself if it senses the owner, opens the trunk or luggage compartment by itself whenever the owner comes with stuffs to keep, and even reverses and positions itself ready for the driver to jump in and take over the wheel to head out to his next destination. There are more! I wish that that car could withstand prolonged fuel-empty tank for some time (or battery-empty in case of hybrid electricity-fed cars!), can run on solar energy, and can immediately detect the nearest available parking space so that the driver doesn’t have to roam around for hours to find it. I will surely love that car! Will you? Mobile phone technology and the latest state-of-the-art technological advancements in its innovations have emerged to be the more popular phenomenon recently. The conception of iPhone 3g is just one of the very phenomenal communications media ever invented today. But wait! Don’t undermine the capabilities of my toy Dopod C720w from Dopod International (HTC). It is just as hi-tech and as sophisticated as the iPhone 3g in terms of their multitude of functions and applications. The only difference (among the few!) is that the images do not rotate to its proper position if you turn the phone sideways, up or down. It doesn’t really matter to me! I can bend my head, twist it a little bit in order to view the images or videos the same way as you do with your iPhone. Dopod is (well!) the professional messaging device with Microsoft Direct Push and BlackBerry Connect. I’m getting to like it so much especially the Bubble Breaker game that it has (the most complicated phone game I’ve ever played!). This C720W model is a Windows Mobile 5.0 Smartphone with an attractive, dual-tone silver and black design at only 1.28cm thin — so flat and light — with a state-of-the-art ergonomic design which gives you an excellent and comfortable grip. Dopod is quite dynamic that it is also equipped with a complete QWERTY keyboard and a unique 3-way touch pad by the side so navigation is quick and easy. It is a mini-laptop as you can do anything with it just like what you do with your computer. You can chat, browse the internet, download whatever the songs, videos or games that you like into it, just like what your iPhone can do! After all, this is my own version of the iPhone 3g. So, it’s really a smart phone, isn’t it?
