Biodiesel from the Power of Vegetables

Scientists and researchers continue to look for renewable fuels that can be used to power cars. Concerns abound over the fact that biodiesel that’s made from corn oil will eventually use up the corn that is needed for food. In fact, there are many other crops that can also be used to make fuel. Since fuel is anything that is burned as a source of energy, some vehicle drivers use biofuel that’s made of sugar cane. This is specifically true in Brazil.

Several scientists have also figured out how to process vegetable oil which is normally used to cook foods — to power cars and buses — called biodiesel. I even use Gasohol 91 or 95 at regular intervals in order to save fuel costs and to support the government’s campaign for biofuels and for a greener society. What is more advantageous to using biodiesel fuel is that it creates less air pollution than the petroleum oil. Why is it called renewable? Because it can’t be used up. In fact, we can grow more oil-producing vegetables and and make more vegetable oil in a short time.
