Dalai Lama Readies For Beijing Games

The Dalai Lama’s support for the Olympic Games is so white and clear, so to speak, and he said that the torch relay should not be disrupted, and that worldwide protests against it should end. “Let’s protect the torch”, he said as it is a part of the games. If the ongoing Tibetan peace talks will yield constructive results, then, the Dalai Lama would go to visit the Beijing Olympics in August ‘08 although he hasn’t yet received an invitation from the Chinese officials. Let there be peace on earth — and so in Tibet — so that the Dalai Lama can witness this great sporting event that he supports the most.
