Concerned about your weight? Let us all remember that high fiber foods like fruits and vegetables always make our meals more satisfying and also promote a healthier weight loss. When you are preparing for a meal, you need to visualize portions as familiar objects like a tennis ball in order to avoid too many calories. Let’s say, 1 tennis ball is equal to—2/3 cup of pasta, potatoes or rice; 1 cup of yogurt; a small whole wheat roll; and 3/4 cup of grapes. This is a good way to re-program your mind and start losing those extra pounds. Now, do you crave for a chocolate ice cream? One very helpful tip on portion control is to also think 1/2 a tennis ball and indulge! Isn’t it healthy and enjoyable?
