Doctors advise parents to keep their children’s cholesterol in regular check with a healthy diet and regular exercise. Several researches show that heart disease builds over a lifetime so your kids’ cholesterol should be screened and monitored especially if they are overweight, eat lots of fatty foods, or there’s a family history of high cholesterol or hypertension, and diabetes. The normal LDL should be 110 or the total cholesterol should not go beyond 170 to stay healthy. So, forget about those antidotes that only big-sized adults can have high cholesterol and run a very high risk of contracting heart-related problems. Even mid-sized young adults can have a heart disease if the cholesterol level is dangerously high. Go, get checked ASAP before it’s too late!
