How really hungry I got? So very hungry!
If I am being asked what my favorite food is, my answer will be — hot and spicy dishes. I have been a great fan of the Thai cuisine for years now as the dishes are mostly finger-licking good and so appetizing for me. Of course, hot and spicy foods are always appetizing — that is if you can bear it! Although some dishes are almost impossible to swallow due to extreme hotness from the chilli (hot pepper), but at least the look of them satisfies my mood and desire to consume them all by myself. But wait, looking at the photographs of some great American seafood recipes here at the Greatamericanseafoodcookoff.com suggested a different feeling and turn of events. Honestly, they look so tasty and cleverly done by the famous chefs in America. I really got so hungry looking at each of the very neat and well-presented dishes. The 2008 Fifth Annual Great American Seafood Cook-Off has just been concluded but the People’s Choice Recipe Contest is still ongoing. I did visit the Greatamericanseafoodcookoff.com and chose Campbell’s Pan Roasted Glazed Rockfish with Peas and Carrots recipe as my most favorite one among the rest. Of course, all the other seafood recipes look great and delicious but I can only vote once for the one that I like the most. This dish has a blend of some soft and strong taste that is truly of my own choice. It doesn’t look pale and boring.
You can also join and vote for your favorite! The recipes do not only make you drool making you really crave for them, but www.GreatAmericanSeafoodCookOff.com also offers you a great chance to “Vote and Enter to Win a Trip to New Orleans”. Why did I vote for Tafari Campbell’s Pan Roasted Glazed Rockfish? Oh, simple. It’s not only because I wanted to win a free trip package to New Orleans and as it does not only taste good, it does taste really very good and the way to prepare it is pretty simple, clean and tidy. Using domestic seafood in your recipes and home cooking is so beneficial and is so considerably sustainable. Apart from being locally available, it is also fresh and will remain fresh till you cook it. Forget about those refrigerated and transported seafoods. They are not anymore as tasty and fresh as the ones available in your locality. See Campbell’s recipe’s complete info here.
