Talking about the hyper-active people (but not those who are autistic!), Tennis’ Rafael Nadal and Boxing’s Manny Pacquiao (Pacman) would almost always come to my mind first. Why? Oh, you can’t imagine how Nadal runs around the whole time to cover the entire court each time he plays tennis in the Masters, Grand Slams, or ATP Tours. He just can’t let go of even a single ball, he must dig it up and hit it back to the other side no matter how far and how difficult it may be. Honestly, I am not really a great fan of him as I don’t find tennis a graceful and sexy sport any longer when he’s the man in the other side of the court. I like the more classic and graceful way of playing tennis by Roger Federer, Pete Sampras and Andrei Agassi. Muscles are not everything in tennis, it is the unique way of staying in the game blistering winners through strategies, forms, grace and styles. I shouldn’t be too other-sided but the feeling is just different, I can’t explain why. But in fairness to Nadal, he’s such a nice person inside and a real gentleman. And why Pacman is so hyper-active to me? Oh, don’t blink your eyes even just for a second and you’ll see lightning-speed series of killer punches the whole boxing bout. I just really couldn’t imagine (but I truly believe!) that he’s so quick and super agile. Wow! Well, in this kind of sport, you have to really be very fast and agile, otherwise, you’ll be in a really big trouble. But active people also need help to be their best. It’s a common auto-response and basic instinct of many of us to immediately dismiss joint pain as a natural part of aging. IT ISN’T! People of all ages including the physically active or even the athletes in their early 20s can be affected by joint pain. And that’s the truth! In order to stay naturally mobile and maintain an active lifestyle, we definitely need to take food or vitamins that are rich in glucosamine. Studies suggest that early intervention may reduce the number of cases or at least delay its onset. Glucosamine and fish oil can help relieve joint swelling, repair joint flexibility, relieve symptoms of osteoarthritis, and also act as combined joint pain support. So, playing tennis or swimming for hours wouldn’t be a problem. And whether it is a 6-lap jogging, a 15-min. walk, or a 15-km. run, these two magic joint pain busters can help you be your best.
