Quitting the job may sound so easy. Yes, anyone can do it anytime he wants. But is it necessary? Is it easy? How will you then support your needs and that of your loved ones’ in case you are the bread winner of the family if you do without any other means of living? Still this action calls for an extra consideration and re-thinking.
If you don’t like your job or anyone in the workplace, that’s not enough reason to despise of the job anyone else had been wanting for, dying for. Look at those who can’t even get a job despite hundreds of attempts and application rejections? Still, this action is not really easy unless you have the capacity to start something new and the means to do it.
She’s considering leaving her decent banker’s job to be with her family full-time. I respect that decision very well and I salute the courage that she has for coming up with this difficult decision. ‘Family comes first’, she says, ‘because we can always find and get the lost job or a new one some other time, somewhere—but not when a family is lost’. Very well. I agree. Seeing her come home to her family and kids from office almost close to midnight everyday makes me wonder if it is possible to go on forever like that. It’s unhealthy. Quitting job is still an option! Family is still the most important part of life and good that she’s got a very supportive husband, things can be done!
Anyways, it’s an Ace! You still hold the card, sis. Cheers and good luck to you!
