Wikipedia defines adverb as a part of speech that modifies any other parts of language such verbs, adjectives (including numbers), clauses, sentences, and other adverbs, except for nouns since the modifiers of nouns are primarily determiners and adjectives. Adverbs typically answer the questions such as how, when, where, why, and to what extent. Now, use the following adverbs — apparently, approximately, particularly, relatively, and respectively — to complete the sentences below:

1. Jo Anne Clare will have her project evaluation followed by Judith, Jade Mae and Jeanette, ________.

2. Ccino and Haron were ________ in a very bad mood. I heard that their tennis trainers gave them a hard time and a really tough training in Cebu City.

3. Janzynn May likes her beef steak rare and ________ with very spicy sauce.

4. “Apart from Az, how many other kids will join us on our short trip to Davao City?” “________ eight.”

5. Baby Ali’s crib that Omar bought in Manila is ________ big and much more comfortable than the one from Bangkok.
