Stay In Touch…

Calling mom at home on a weekly basis could give us a lot of peace of mind and happiness while we struggle abroad to earn for a better living. Yes, everyone would miss his family back home, I surely do, and making phone calls to hear their own voices would at least make me feel light and worry-free. I’m the kind of person who always wants family updates on a daily basis if possible that is why I always carry with me several calling cards so that I can make that important call anywhere and anytime I want. Me and my sister always make sure that we both have “Thailand calling cards” or “Philippines phone cards” for calling relatives there so that we do not miss any important news from our loved ones as well as greeting them on special occasions. However, these past few days, I was too busy to get to the shop to buy phone cards so I’m just glad that there is an online chatting module, Yahoo! Messenger, that allows us to connect with our relatives and friends. The YM also allows voice conferences so staying in touch with important people is really quick, easy and absolutely free. Thanks to the latest technology for saving my time and for keeping in constant touch with my family abroad.
