Here’s my treat for everyone — a video game that can trim us down. It’s not a new fashion nor a latest-found technology. It’s been here for a couple of years now yet not many people know about its health benefits apart from purely just a kid’s entertainment machine. Moving to the beat of Dance Dance Revolution or DDR has led to weight loss for many adults and kids alike.
To play this interactive game or exercise, you need to face a video screen with arrows moving to song’s beat, while standing on a pad with arrows pointing right, left, up and down. You need to match your motions to the on-screen arrows’ movements, and score points as you go.
If you boogie down as often as you as possible, you can slim down tremendously. Someone had shredded 50 pounds of extra weight after three months of doing this exercise. It’s amazing since you can have fun at the same time. You can now get a DDR and a pad for the PlayStation or Xbox for as much as $50 or less, I believe.
